Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 250 gmbeans
  2. 2potatoes chopped
  3. 3/4 cupmoong sprouts
  4. 1large size onion sliced
  5. 2green chillies
  6. 1 sprigcurry leaves
  7. 1dry red chilli, a pinch Asafoetida/ hing
  8. Turmeric, salt and red chilli powder as required
  9. 1 Tspsambar powder
  10. 2 Tspvegetable oil
  11. 1/2 Tspponch phutan

Steps

  1. 1

    Arrange and assemble the ingredients as required. Wash and chop green beans.

    Heat oil and splutter ponch phutan. Add sliced onions, both green and red chillies and curry leaves. Add hing and fry onion till translucent.

    Add chopped potatoes, chopped fresh beans,

    Then mix turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder as per choice. Mix well and cook on low flame. Then add Samba masala powder.

    Mix well and cook covered. Add sprouts of green moong and cook covered after mixing with the veggies. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
