Wash urad daal, poha & methi dana separately & soak together in a bowl for 5 hrs
Wash red rice nicely & soak separately for 5 hrs
After 5 hrs drain water from daal poha & methi dana & grind to fine paste
Same with red rice

Now mix both the batter ; keep in a vessel, add salt & cover with lid ; Keep 8-10 hrs for fermentation
Next day grease Idli mound with ghee / oil & & sprinkle some podi masala in one idli plate & steam Idli for 10 min in Idli cooker
Serve idly with Sambhar & choice of your chutney like Mint Chutney, Coconut Chutney & Tomato
