I made this for my kids, who are big fans of Disney characters.

The key is to make the nose higher. For the mouth, make sure he has a big smile on his face. It looks very much like Winnie the Pooh when you put a line over his nose. Eye brows should be closer to the top of his face, separated from his eyes. Recipe by momo**

Ingredients

  1. 1use as much (to taste) Hot cooked white rice
  2. 1Decofuri rice seasoning (yellow) or other seasonings
  3. 1Nori seaweed

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mix rice with the decofuri rice seasoning until the rice is evenly colored. Wrap the rice with plastic wrap and form the face and ears.

  2. 2

The ears look small compared to the face, but that is because it is set in the back of the face. For your reference, I used roughly 80 g of rice for the face and 15 g each for the ears.

  3. 3

When the rice has cooled, pack it into the bento box.

  4. 4

Cut the nori seaweed to make the facial features with your hand.

  5. 5

Pack in the side dishes and put the facial features on the rice ball, and done. Make sure you pack in enough side dishes to secure the ears in place (so they don't move around inside).
