Grated Carrot Cake With Honey

I came up with this recipe for a nutritious snack I could eat with my children.

The fiber from the grated carrot remains nice and flavorful after baking.
Slowly bake at 170°C until it rises.
I recommend using a false bottom cake pan.
I bought my cake pan and cake pan liners at a dollar store. For 1 15 cm [5.9 in] cake pan. Recipe by Nanohana uchan

Ingredients

  1. 70 gramsCarrot, grated
  2. 70 gramsSugar
  3. 1Egg
  4. 1 tbspHoney
  5. 50 gramsMelted butter
  6. 120 gramsWhite flour
  7. 1 tspBaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and grate the carrot. Melt the butter in a microwave.

    Combine the egg and sugar in a bowl and blend with a hand mixer. When it becomes white and thick, mix in the honey, butter, and cinnamon to taste.

    Fold in the flour and baking powder with a rubber spatula.

    Pour the batter into the cake mold lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes at 170°C. Cover with a sheet of aluminum foil, then bake for 10 more minutes.

    Pierce with a skewer to test if it's finished baking.

    The result is a rich and fluffy cake. It's delicious served right out of the oven, too.
