Steps

Finely chop the garlic and chilli. Chop the fresh herbs. Juice the lemon and wash/half the tomatoes.

Fry the chopped garlic in the olive oil for 1 minute (don't brown it). Add the chilli and tomatoes, cook for a further 2 minutes.

Add the chopped tomatoes, lemon juice, sugar and plenty of seasoning. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, the sauce is of the desired consistency.

Stir through the herbs and serve with spaghetti. Top with parmesan if you wish.
