Cauliflower cheese

When shopping for a cauliflower, look for one with fresh, green leaves. They will bring flavour to the dish.
You can choose any cheese, but a mixture of Cheddar and something tangy such as Edam goes well with the cabbage.
If you want a bit of spice, enjoy this with a spoonful of peanut rayu. (Have a look at my other recipes)

Steps
- 1
Chop the cauliflower into pieces, including the green leaves (cut hardy stalks into smaller pieces). Boil until tender. Drain, and pour into a wide oven dish.
- 2
Mash the broccoli a bit with a fork, to soften them. Sprinkle chopped parsley, salt, pepper and garlic powder on top, and mix in.
- 3
Finely chop or grate the cheese, and sprinkle on the top. Splash a cupful of milk on top to prevent the mix from drying.
- 4
Cook in oven 30min in 170c, until the broccoli mix has turned golden with a bit of brown. Enjoy!
