Meltingly Soft Cabbage and Meatballs Stewed in Tomatoes

I bought a cabbage and minced meat meaning to make cabbage rolls, but I couldn't be bothered with the amount of work, so I tried making it without wrapping the minced meat. It was a huge success! This is a popular tomato stew at my house.
* I recommend using a large pan since there's a lot of cabbage.
* Since cheese is added at the last step, I don't add salt at Step 9. Add a little salt if you'd like it to be saltier.
You can add garlic powder. For serving 4 to 5. Recipe by Komomomomo

Since my son hates vegetables, I came up with this recipe that allows him to eat meat and veggies together. In Step 8, check to see if there is any meat juice left in the pan. If not, add 1/4 cup of water to the combined A ingredients.Since the mixture is a little loose, try not to touch it too much in order to prevent it from falling apart. Fluffy Meatballs & Chinese Cabbage Soup Fluffy Meatballs & Chinese Cabbage Soup
This is a meatball soup recipe I've liked ever since I was a student.I've been improving on it bit by bit to make my personal favorite version.-The secret of the fluffiness is the water and the sake. Be sure to rub it into the minced meat well.-This time I used Ajinomoto's "Chinese Flavoring" (granules), but you can use Weipa or chicken soup stock as well!-Since you'll be adding the glass noodles to the soup later on, in Step 1 only lightly cook them - they should still be hard. Pretty nice meatballs; leftovers can be frozen; use salt reduced paste and stock, and do not add extra salt to the sauce, or else it might be a bit too salty. (Pic has capsicum instead of celery, this recipe is great for substituting veggies) Saffie La Rue -
Super-tender beef meatballs Super-tender beef meatballs
Not trying to oversell it, but these could be some of the lightest, fluffiest, most tender meatballs you'll ever eat. There are three keys (and one unexpected ingredient) required. First, the meat mixture must be just the right moistness. It can't be too wet or too dry. Aim for something like slightly wet bread dough and you'll be on the right track. Second, don't overwork the meat, either when mixing the ingredients together or forming the balls. And let the meatballs rest before cooking, too. Third, don't be afraid to make your meatballs a little bigger than normal. Mine were roughly 5 cm in diameter. This size allows them to get nice and brown and crusty on the outside, while remaining pillowy soft in the centre. As for the secret ingredient...mushrooms. Plain ol' white buttons. Really.
