My son has a wheat allergy, so I wanted to make okonomiyaki using rice flour so that he could eat it safely.

You can use whatever ingredients you have in your fridge (such as onion, carrot, etc.).
Adjust the amount of water as necessary. For 3 patties. Recipe by Ryo---ko

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 50 gramsRice flour
  2. 60 gramsWater
  3. 60 gramsChinese cabbage (or cabbage)
  4. 10 gramsKomatsuna
  5. 1 dashSalt
  6. 1 dashBonito flakes (optional)
  7. 1 dashAonori (optional)
  8. 1 dashOlive oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mince the Chinese cabbage and the komatsuna.

  2. 2

Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix together.

  3. 3

Heat olive oil in a frying pan and cook the mixture. (I made three small okonomiyaki this time.)

  4. 4

Once they are golden brown, flip them over, brown the other side, and they're done!

  5. 5

You can cut them into bite-sized pieces to use as finger food for little kids. Top them with mayo and okonomiyaki sauce, and you can serve them to toddlers and adults as well.
