With an irresistible taste and flavour, this innovative Date Rolls Lassi by me is an amazing addition to the long list of my healthy and wholesome recipes. Healthy and nutritious for the whole family especially after a day long fast in this scorching Summer heat. Made with simple ingredients, it's a great option for any day in Ramadan.
By using these Rolls, I have also added a great number of Nuts, Dry Fruits and Seeds to this beautiful looking Lassi.
And for the only Dates Lassi, use any variety of Dates that are available easily at your place. I use many types of them. Sometimes I use Khudri, the other times I use Safawi, Amber, Kimia, Omani Dates etc. Infact this Lassi tastes awesome even with fresh Dates that are easily available in KSA in Summers. The flavour and texture both are undoubtedly the best.
Use of fresh Cream or Malai collected at home can also enhance it's creaminess and taste as well. My children love it and would want it made with different varieties of Dates.
Enjoy this lip-smacking and nutritious drink with your families and friends.

Happy Month of Ramadan dear homechefs!
Enjoy No Cooking with Zeen!

Steps

No Cook Recipe
  1. 1

Add all to a blender jar along with ice-cubes as needed. Or can use a cup of cold water as well.

  2. 2

Do not use much water as Lassi won't be creamy. The whole essence lies in the fact that it's amazingly luscious and creamy.

  3. 3

Blitz on a high for about 2-3 minutes. Chill until use. Top with some slivered nuts if desired.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
