Ingredients

1 cupshortening (1/2 oleo + 1/2 Crisco)
1 1/2 cupssugar
2egg yolks
1 teaspoonbaking soda
1 teaspooncream of tartar
2 cupsflour
1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2 teaspoonlemon extract

Steps

Cream sugar, shortening, egg yolks and flavoring. Beat well.

Add dry ingredients. Chill several hours.

Roll in balls the size of walnuts and roll in sugar.

Bake at 325° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
