Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 1 piecechicken (thigh, breast, or drumettes are all fine)
  2. 2large onions
  3. 1 clovegarlic
  4. 2 tablespoonsvegetable oil
  5. 1 can★canned tomatoes
  6. 3/4 cup★water (200 ml)
  7. 1★bay leaf (if available)
  8. 3 1/2 oz (1/2 box)curry roux of your choice
  9. to taste your choice of secret ingredient

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, coarsely chop the onions, and mince the garlic.

  2. 2

    In a pot, heat the vegetable oil over low heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the chicken and sauté.

  3. 3

    Once the chicken changes color, add the onions and sauté well until they become tender.

  4. 4

    Add the ingredients marked with ★, cover, and simmer over low to medium heat for 20 to 30 minutes. (If using a pressure cooker, cook under pressure for 6 minutes, then let it depressurize naturally.)

    Add the curry roux and your choice of secret ingredient over low heat to finish.
