Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  • 7 ouncesspaghetti
  • 1zucchini
  • ☆Meat Miso
  • About 5 ounces ground meat (beef, pork, or a mix)
  • 2 tablespoonsmiso
  • 1/2onion (minced)
  • 1 cloveeach garlic and ginger
  • Slightly less than 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoonsoy sauce
  • 1/4 cupChinese soup stock
  • 1 teaspoonor more (to taste) doubanjiang (chili bean paste)
  • 1 tablespoonsesame oil
  • 1little salad oil/salt and black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    ☆Make the meat miso. Sauté garlic, ginger, and onion in sesame oil until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Once the onion is soft, add the ground meat and cook until crumbly. Once cooked, add the Chinese soup stock and bring to a boil. Season with miso and other seasonings.

  3. 3

    Start boiling the spaghetti in plenty of salted water. Slice the zucchini into rounds and sauté in salad oil, lightly seasoning with salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Once the pasta is cooked, drain it quickly and return it to the pot. Mix in the prepared meat miso and zucchini, and enjoy.
