Ingredients

  • As much as you like ★Leftover potato salad
  • As needed★Chikuwa (fish cake)
  • Your choice of tempura batter
  • Enough for frying Oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the chikuwa open lengthwise with scissors, but don't cut all the way through. Just open it up.

  2. 2

    Place the potato salad on the opened chikuwa. A little mound is perfect.

    Coat with the prepared tempura batter. Use a shallow container like a tray or plate to roll it around for easy coating.

  4. 4

    Now just fry it! A frying pan is sufficient. Roll it around while frying.

  5. 5

    Once done, cut into bite-sized pieces and enjoy!
