Ingredients

Serves 2–3 servings
  1. Tonkotsu ramen soup base
  2. 2 cupssoy milk (about 500 ml)
  3. 2 cupswater (about 500 ml)
  4. Slightly less than 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 2 1/2 teaspoonschicken bouillon powder
  6. 1 1/2 teaspoonsgrated garlic
  7. 2 teaspoonsoyster sauce
  8. 2 teaspoonssoy sauce
  9. 2 tablespoonsmirin
  10. 2 tablespoonsChinese soup base (Weipa or similar)
  11. Black pepper, to taste
  12. Toppings (as you like)
  13. 2–3 servings Chinese-style noodles (you can also use glass noodles or shirataki noodles)
  14. 2–3 marinated eggs (see Recipe ID:19532903)
  15. Seasoned wood ear mushrooms, as desired (see Recipe ID:19382221)
  16. Chashu pork, as much as you like (see Recipe ID:18360713)
  17. Sliced green onions, as much as you like
  18. Ground sesame seeds, as much as you like

Cooking Instructions

    Add all the soup ingredients to a pot. Heat while stirring until just before boiling. Be careful not to let it boil, as that can affect the flavor. The soup is ready!

    Place cooked noodles in a bowl, pour the soup over them, and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
