Ingredients

Serves 2 to 3 servings
  • 100 ml(about 7 tablespoons) soy sauce
  • 75 ml(about 5 tablespoons) mirin
  • 4 tablespoonsbeet sugar (or use about 3 tablespoons of another sugar if you prefer)
  • (You can use about 3 tablespoons of another sugar)
  • 50 ml(about 3 1/2 tablespoons) sake
  • 50 ml(about 3 1/2 tablespoons) water

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the seasonings together in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Pour in half of the sauce, add your ingredients, and simmer.

  3. 3

    Adjust the flavor by adding more sauce as needed.
