Super Easy Oyako Donburi with Shirodashi

Cooking Instructions

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and slice the onion.

Add the ● ingredients to a frying pan and mix. Heat over medium until it lightly boils.

Add the onion and simmer for a while.

When the onion becomes translucent, add the chicken and continue to simmer.
- 5
Meanwhile, crack the egg into a bowl and lightly beat it, cutting through the egg whites. *Do not mix completely! This is important!

Once the chicken is cooked through, reduce to low heat, tilt the pan, and pour in 2/3 of the egg.

When the egg starts to set, pour in the remaining egg and cook on low for another 10 to 20 seconds.

Pour over a bowl of rice and garnish with green onion or mitsuba to finish!
