Mix together the miso, sugar, mirin, and sesame oil.

Line a toaster oven tray with nonstick foil and lightly brush the foil with a little extra sesame oil (not included in the ingredient list).

Shape the rice into small rice balls, place them on the foil, and spread the miso mixture on both sides of each rice ball.

Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top, then toast in the toaster oven until lightly browned. Enjoy!
