Warm Up with Silky Yudofu Using Baking Powder

Instead of baking soda, I used baking powder. In less than 10 minutes, you can enjoy silky yudofu. Perfect for cold days, dieting, or a reset meal. The origin of this recipe: I successfully used baking powder, which I always have in the fridge, instead of baking soda (haha).

Steps
- 1
Cut the tofu into your preferred size and add enough water to cover at least 80% of it. Heat it up.
- 2
Once it starts boiling, add the baking powder. Gently stir or shake the pot and let it boil for 1 minute until done. Add more baking powder for a silkier texture if desired.
- 3
Enjoy with your favorite sauce or garnishes. Try yuzu sesame sauce, kinako miso sauce, or plum mustard sauce. Using a base like dressing or ponzu makes it even easier.
