Fluffy and Moist Pancakes with Silken Tofu Fluffy and Moist Pancakes with Silken Tofu
I've been really into using tofu in different recipes lately. I tried to mix it in pancake batter, and the result ended up delicious. That's how I arrived at this recipe.Whisk in the pancake mix briskly, but try not to over-mix.If you are using a normal frying pan, use a little bit of oil.Pour the batter in the middle of the pan so that the heat is right underneath. It will prevent your pancakes from cooking unevenly with browned spots. For 3 pancakes, each 17 cm [6.7 in] in diameter. Recipe by Miashanmama cookpad.japan -
Thick Chewy Pancakes Made with Silken Tofu Thick Chewy Pancakes Made with Silken Tofu
When I was thinking about making pancakes, I looked in the fridge and found tofu."If I added tofu to pancake mix, how would it taste??" I wondered. I tried it and...it was more delicious than I thought.Even when they're cool, these pancakes are chewy. They burn easily, so cook them patiently over very low heat. After you add the pancake mix, be careful not to over-mix!The batter is thick since there is no liquid in it, and that's what makes the pancakes turn out so thick. You could also add a bit of milk or soy milk. Super Easy Silken Tofu Dessert with Sesame Kinako Kuromitsu Super Easy Silken Tofu Dessert with Sesame Kinako Kuromitsu
I enjoyed some tofu jelly topped with kinako and kuromitsu. But I thought maybe it wasn't necessary to make all that and it might be just as good to put the toppings on silken tofu. So I tried it. I also topped it with ground roasted sesame seeds, and there was no tofu smell at all.Silken tofu is the best kind of tofu to use since it's mild and doesn't have a strong smell. You could also use the tofu that comes in packs of threes or processed tofu. Roasting the sesame seeds before grinding them makes them more fragrant. If you just use brown sugar to make the kuromitsu, it will be ready in less than a minute. Recipe by toshiebaba cookpad.japan -
Koya Freeze Dried Tofu Powder for Baking and Baby Food Koya Freeze Dried Tofu Powder for Baking and Baby Food
I got lazy about dehydrating and cooling the okara for baking, so I substituted with grated koya tofu.Koya tofu is packed with iron, calcium and fiber! Milk has more fat and sugar. But it is not good to take in an excess of soy products, so use wisely in combination with iron and calcium rich ingredients such as mustard spinach, broccoli, mizuna, sesame seeds and seaweed. Toasted Silken Tofu with Cheese Toasted Silken Tofu with Cheese
Since it's too cold to eat chilled tofu in the winter, I came up with a warm dish.Warming the tofu in the microwave and then topping with cheese and soy sauce cuts down on the cooking time. You could also serve this for when you run out of appetizers.Since the cheese melts, you can use sliced cheese too.I like that sliced cheese doesn't get too runny and slide off the tofu.Eat it with a spoon! My family loves tofu so I thought that maybe I could make something with tofu and chocolate. You won't feel the tofu at all, even though it uses lots of it. You'll be hooked on its decadent texture. If you mix the tofu until it is really creamy, it'll taste good even without straining. All you really have to do is to mix the ingredients with a whisk. Use the liquor of your choice. Otherwise, you can use vanilla oil. Recipe by Chamu kiss cookpad.japan -
