Pizza (yeast free)
I got tired of store/takeaway pizza costing so much money while on the whole not delivering on taste for the price. The dough recipe for this actually comes from BBC Good Food (https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/no-yeast-pizza-dough). They say preparing the dough takes 35 minutes in total, maybe more experienced people will get it done in that time

Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 200℃ or gas mark 6. It's a good idea to grate the cheese and prepare any toppings (peppers, meats etc.) that need slicing now or beforehand.
- 2
For the sauce, mash the chopped tomatoes. You can go until there are no lumps. Use 2 tins, just to ensure you have enough.
- 3
Simmer the tomatoes on low heat
- 4
When the tomatoes start to bubble add the spices
- 5
Keep the tomatoes simmering until it forms a thick sauce. Turn off at that point. Ensure the pot is closed at all times.
- 6
Mix the flour, water, baking powder, oil and salt in a bowl until it forms a ball. Add more water if the dough is stiff or dry. I added 30 ml more water than the recipe asked for, making 200 ml of water in total.
- 7
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 4 minutes
- 8
Line your trays/pans with greaseproof paper. Separate the dough into two balls
- 9
Flatten each dough ball into each tray
- 10
Add your toppings. These can be whatever you want.
- 11
Bake in the oven until done (15 minutes is a good starting point, but be sure to check). Meats can also be prepared here. I prepared my bacon and pineapples here. Once the pizza was baked, I added the pineapple and bacon before putting each pizza back in the oven for 5 minutes
