Snake Gourd and Methi or Fenugreek Greens are used to whip up these delicious and crisp Fritters for an enjoyable snack with the whole family.
Monsoons have set in almost the entire Country. And so have the innumerable mouthwatering delicacies and dishes in the Indian kitchens. Rainy Season is a perfect one for a plate of steaming hot Pakoras and a hot beverage alongside. These two go hand in hand and are the bestest combinations ever.
Every household loves to have some kind of Fritters or Pakoras or Bhajiye on a rainy evening for a delectable snack at Tea-time or Shaam ki Chai. And if that's a Weekend, then it becomes even more perfect and a must have. I made these yummy Fritters using some freshly chopped Fenugreek Greens and Gram flour using a healthy Veggie like Snake Gourd. These are crisp from outside and soft from the inside due to the Veggie. The Fenugreek Greens lends a super delicious texture and flavour to the overall look. The Fritters are just great for any day.

Steps
- 1
Make a smooth semi-thick yet fluffy and a smooth batter with all the ingredients mentioned. Mix well and keep aside for a good 20 to 30 minutes or so. This is a must. The standing time given is enough for fluffy and soft fritters. I have used the batter for two different fritter recipes. So I divided it into two.
- 2
Deep fry in hot oil on a medium-high heat dipping each slice in the batter and sliding into the kadai carefully. See to it that they are coated well with the batter. Cook until golden brown and done. Serve them piping hot with any chutney of your choice. Yum!
- 3
Enjoy these lip-smacking fritters with a hot cup of chai or coffee when it's pouring outside. The weather plus these bhajiye will definitely make your day. Relish!
