Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 3-4eggs, divided
  • 1 1/2 cupmilk
  • 2 cupswhole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp.cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp.chilli flakes
  • To taste, salt
  • To taste, pepper powder
  • 1/2onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp.parsley flakes
  • As required, oil

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl crack 2 eggs and add the milk. Whisk to combine.

  2. 2

    Add the flour, salt, pepper, cilantro, chilli flakes and mix to form a liquid dough

  3. 3

    In another bowl whisk the remaining eggs with salt, pepper, parsley and onion. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Heat a flat griddle (tawa) and grease lightly with oil.

  5. 5

    Pour ¼ cup amount of the egg-flour mixture on to the tawa, swirling it to cover the bottom evenly. Cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to lift and the crepe is set.

  6. 6

    Apply oil and carefully flip the crepe using a spatula and cook for an additional 1 minute.

  7. 7

    Pour a small amount of beaten egg over the crepe and spread evenly. Cook till egg is set.

  8. 8

    Carefully flip and cook till egg is completely set.

  9. 9

    Flip and roll the crep.

  10. 10

    Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining egg-flour mixture.
    Serve hot.
