A classic fall dessert that's easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser!

Peel and core the apples, then slice them thinly. Toss the apple slices with the Calvados in a large bowl (optional). You can also sauté them in a little butter if you like. Whisk the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes pale and creamy.

Add the almond butter and salt, whisking until the batter is smooth. Gradually whisk in the milk.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Fold the apples into the batter and mix well. Pour the mixture into a deep baking dish and bake for 40 minutes. Sprinkle the clafoutis with vanilla sugar, then bake for another 10–15 minutes until golden and set.

Let it cool completely before refrigerating, or enjoy it slightly warm. Serve with homemade whipped cream for a perfect finish. Enjoy!
