Tomato beetroot Soup

Firstly, heat butter in a pressure cooker, add bay leaf, peppercorns cinnamon, garlic clove, ginger and saute for 1 minute. Add chopped onion.

Add chopped beetroot and carrot.Cook for 2 minutes.now add chopped tomatoes. Add chilli powder, salt,cumin powder and sugar. Now cover the pressure cooker with lid and cook till 2-3 whistles.

When the cooker cools down. Blend the tomato mixture with hand mixer.

Add required warm water and mix it well.Now strain the mixture properly. Now take the mixture in a pan and let it cook on medium flame. add crushed pepper, tomato ketchup and lemon juice and cook for 2-3 minutes. When the soup boils, add corn flour slurry and mix the soup properly. Allow to thicken. Now take out the prepared tomato soup in a bowl, garnish it with cream, coriander and serve it hot.
