Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and sauté till soft.

Add mushrooms and sauté for 6 minutes.

Add the broth and bring to a boil.

Switch off flame and blend the soup with an immersion blender or normal blender.

And milk and seasonings and bring to a simmer.

Mix corn flour and water and add the slurry to the pot. Mix and cook to desired thickness.

Add cilantro and serve hot.
