Cook and drain broccoli.

Slice water chestnuts.

Put broccoli in a 2 quart casserole.

Add the rest of ingredients except onions.

Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.

Cover with onions and finish baking 8-10 minutes or until onions are brown.

NOTE: Can add 2 cups diced ham or chicken for a meal.
