Steps

Put beans in a bowl, wash into a Pot and pour water a little above the level of the beans and cook for about 10 mins. Discard the water, wash with cold water and continue to cook with water level a little above the level of the beans.

Cook till tender (soft) adding more water from time to time if necessary (Make sure you don't add too much water).

While, the beans cooks, prepare your ingredients. Chop or slice the onion, grind the crayfish/prawns, grind the pepper. peel and chop the plantain into small cubes

When the beans is tender, add salt & pepper (to test), crayfish (2 spoons), seasoning, palm (oil enough to color) and finally, add the chopped plantain and cook for another 7-10mins.

Turn the porridge with a ladle (big spoon) or spatula. Turn off the heat, leave for some few minutes to cool a bit and serve.
