Pabda machher patudi is a traditional, delicious fish recipe where fish are cooked by wrapping in banana leaf .
Steps

Make a fine paste with mustard seeds, poppy seeds & 1 green chilli.First marinate the pabda fishes with turmeric powder, salt & 1 tsp gondhoraj lemon juice

In a mixing bowl add mustard, poppy seeds paste, green chilli paste,gondhoraj lemon juice,turmeric powder, salt & mix well.

Add the whole pabda fishes, mix well & marinate them for 10 minutes.

Roast the banana leaves on low flame. so that they can fold easily.

Put the marinated pabda fish on the banana leaf, add some mustard oil over it, put a green chilli & then fold the banana leaf by a thread.

Heat 1 tbsp mustard oil on a tawa & place the banana parcel on it for cooking.

Cover & cook for 5 minutes on low flame & then turn over the banana parcel for cooking on both sides.

When the banana parcel becomes dark, the paturi is ready to eat.

Serve the delicious gondhoraj Pabda Paturi with hot steam rice.
