Wash the vegetables using a lot of water then cut into pieces

Place a cup full water in a cooking pot then add a tea spoonful of baking powder and heat

When warm add the chopped vegetables and allow to boil for about 6 min

Stir well and allow to boil once more.you'll notice a paste being formed

Remove from heat and place a clean cooking pot on fire. add the cooking oil,onion and allow to fry.add the sliced tomatoes and allow to soften to form a paste.

Drain excess water from the vegetables and add the vegetables to the paste.stir well to mix

Add the milk and salt to the mixture and allow to cook for 3 min.serve hot with ugali
