This sauce has been part of my family for generations and we basically eat it with pretty much anything and it’s really healthy

Prepare the avocado: Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor

Add aromatics: Add the garlic, salt, lemon juice, chopped cilantro, and chopped onion to the blender.

Blend: Blend until smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a tablespoon of water (or more) until desired consistency is reached.

Taste and adjust: Taste the sauce and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed.

Serve: Use immediately as a dip, spread, or drizzle. It’s perfect with tacos, grilled veggies, or as a salad dressing.

Tip: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. To prevent browning, press a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the sauce.
