Taste of the Aegean

One of my kids was put on a Mediterranean diet by his nutritionist. The nutrition also gave me a list of snacks ideas that he needs to be on. This is some of that snack list and some Mediterranean stuff. This should last him two days. This is to snack on during the day and night in between meals. Iam unsure of what he will actually eat something are new to him the olives what he is already complaining about , also new is the peppers, and he doesn’t like tomatoes much. Starting out slow , on our new journey with the Mediterranean diet. My second box that goes with this box definitely needs more items, we just don’t like or crackers, pita chips and stuff like that in the fridge so this is the dry box.

Wash an cut all fruits and vegetables, let dry in the the mean time make the Tzatziki sauce, and the tuna salad.

Add everything to a snack box as pictured can make substitutions.

One spot does have diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers and topped with the feta cheese(a almost greek salad)

I did put some feta cheese in one spot, some whole tomatoes in one spot and sliced cucumbers, good to utilize the space with some of the same ingredients and mix some of them up as well. Like you can mix the blueberries and strawberries, or what i did with tomatoes and cucumber.

Not pictured is the carrots and celery as I forgot them at the store, and will be adding them later. Thats what the Tzatziki sauce is for.

We don’t like putting our crackers in the fridge so the crackers and non-refrigerated items are in a different container. Yes I know this container needs more in it, but it goes with the other container. I cut some whole wheat bread for tuna sandwich or can use the tuna with crackers or pita chips. I need more protein and nuts and dried fruits in this box.
