Grate all the veggies. Add cooked rice. You can also use leftover rice.

Add oil, chilli ginger paste, all the spices, sugar, salt and mix it well.

Add all the flours. Add baking soda and lemon juice.Mix it and form soft dough like consistency. Use little water if needed.Give shape of your choice. Steam it in a steamer for 25 - 30 mins.

Let it cool, cut into pieces. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, jeera, sesame seeds, bay leaf, curry leaves, asafoetida. As seeds splutter, add cut muthiyas to it. Don't stir for couple of minutes. Let it turn little pink n crispy.

Add some red chilli powder, sugar, lemon juice.

Garnish with coriander leaves. You can also use shredded coconut for garnishing. Enjoy Gujarati Muthiya with tea 😍
