Paneer Tikka Cheesy Discs

Boil the potatoes and ready all the other ingredients. Dry roast besan on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

Now prepare the marination. In 2 tsp heated and cooled mustard oil mix the Kashmiri chilli powder. Mix in all the dry masalas. Now add in gg paste, curds and besan.

Mix well. Now add in paneer and vegetables. Mix gently to coat each well with the marination.

Now mix in lemon juice. Rest this mixture for 3 hours in fridge. Now to cook the marinated ingredients, take 1 tbsp oil in a pan and saute the mixture.

Saute for 6-8 minutes on medium flame until the oul separates and the mixture leaves the sides of the pan. Set aside to cool the sauted paneer tikka mixture.

Meanwhile, grate paneer and cheese cubes. Mix and keep ready for topping.

Ready the mint mayo by mixing the green chutney and mayonnaise. Cut roundels of fresh bread slices. Also cut rings using a smaller round cutter.

Prepare such sets of round slices and rings in the quantity required. With this quantity 9 discs can be made.

Assembling: Apply minty mayo on the round slice. Cover with the ring slice.

Now place paneer tikka mixture in the centre space. Apply melted butter on the ring slice. Line a baking tray with baking paper and brush some butter on it. Top with grated paneer and cheese mix.

Serve tasty and lip smacking starter during the festive season and enjoy with family and friends.

Final Baking: Arrange the Cheesy Paneer Tikka Discs in the baking tray. Bake the discs in a preheated oven @180°C.Bake for 5-6 minutes or until the ring slice get a nice golden colour and the base slice is also crisp.
