Ingredients

20-25 minutes
2-3 servings
  • 1 1/2 cupswater chestnut (singhada) flour + for dusting
  • 2-3medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1 tbsproasted peanut powder
  • Rock salt (sendha namak) to taste
  • 1/2 tsproasted cumin powder
  • 1 tspginger-green chilli paste (ginger optional)
  • 1 tbspchopped cilantro leaves
  • 1-2 tbspoil
  • Ghee for applying
  • Vrat Special Boiled Potatoes masala sabji Recipe 😋
  • Ingredients: 😋
  • 4-5boiled potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 tspOil (as required)
  • 1/4 tspCumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1-2chopped Green chilies
  • 1/2 tspSendha namak (rock to salt)
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • 1 tbspchopped Coriander leaves
  • Ginger (optional)
  • Raita cucumber recipe 😋
  • 1 cupyoghurt
  • 1cucumber peeled and grated
  • Rock salt to taste
  • 1/ 4 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder+ to sprinkle
  • Chopped fresh cilantro leaves to sprinkle

Steps

20-25 minutes
  1. 1

    Take water chestnut flour, potato, roasted peanut powder, Rock salt, roasted cumin powder, ginger-green chilli paste, coriander leaves, and oil and mix well. Knead till a soft dough is formed.
    Cover with a damp muslin cloth.

    Take a portion of the dough and shape it into a ball. Dust the worktop with some water chestnut flour and place dough ball on it and press it lightly. Roll it into a disc of medium thickness.

    Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the disc on it and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip and apply some ghee and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes as well.

    To make a Raita for paratha:-

    To make the raita, take yogurt in a bowl. Add cucumber, rock salt and roasted cumin powder and mix well..... Transfer in a bowl, sprinkle roasted cumin powder and coriander. Serve with the prepared paranthe.

    Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker until tender. Peel and cube.
    Heat oil in a kadhai. Add cumin seeds and green chilies. Saute for 2 minutes.

    Add boiled potatoes, sendha namak, and black pepper. Mix well....

    Garnish with coriander leaves. Mix again.
