Steps

Take channa dal, rinse with water and soak for ten minutes.

Add ghee and cook till the dal becomes soft. Keep s kadai on medium heat add mustard seeds, cinnamon,red chilly and curry leaves. Saute for a few minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes and fry nicely.

Once it is mashed add the red chilly powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder,garam masala powder,mix well and add little water.Cook till the raw smell goes out. Then add the cooked dal.

Give a nice mix. Add salt and mix well. Close with lid.Let it cook for five minutes. Super tasty jain curry is ready.

Give a mix and add chopped coriander leaves. Transfer to a serving bowl.

Enjoy this jain channa masala curry with roti and plain rice.
