Soak kala chana overnight in water.

Make a paste of ginger, garlic, and green chili.

In a pressure cooker, add soaked chana, the paste, all spices, and tomato and water

Cook for 4-5 whistles until chana is tender.Remove skin of tomato

Open the cooker, check doneness, and adjust salt if needed.

Add lemon juice, chaat masala, and fresh coriander leaves before serving.
