7-8 hours soaking 15 min cooking

  1. 1/2 tspDry coriander powder
  2. 1 handfulFresh coriander leaves
  3. 1/2 tspChaat masala
  4. 1 tbspLemon juice
  5. 500 mlWater
  6. 1/2 tspDry mango powder
  7. 1/2 tspGaram masala powder
  8. 1 pinchAsafoetida powder
  9. 1 pinchTurmeric powder
  10. 100 g(soaked overnight) Kala chana (black chickpeas)
  11. 1/2 tspRed chili powder
  12. 1/2 tspBlack salt
  13. 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  14. 1 tspSalt
  15. 1medium Tomato
  16. 1Green chili
  17. 2 clovesGarlic
  18. 1small piece Ginger

Steps

7-8 hours soaking 15 min cooking

    Soak kala chana overnight in water.

    Make a paste of ginger, garlic, and green chili.

    In a pressure cooker, add soaked chana, the paste, all spices, and tomato and water

    Cook for 4-5 whistles until chana is tender.Remove skin of tomato

    Open the cooker, check doneness, and adjust salt if needed.

    Add lemon juice, chaat masala, and fresh coriander leaves before serving.
