Sig's tasty stuffing
I was preparing a meal and thought 'well, why not'.
Steps
- 1
Boil the water in a kettle or pan and preheat oven to 220 °C
- 2
Mix the falafel mix with the sage and onion stuffing in a bowl
- 3
Wipe a small loaf tin with the coconut oil or your chosen greasing agent
- 4
Pour the boiled water carefully, cup by cup, over the falafel and sage and onion mix in a bowl. Add the butter or margerine.Mix, making sure that is not sloppy, dry or overly thick. Leave to stand for 10- 15 Minutes. Add a little more water if it seems dry or powdery. It should be thick enough to be rolled into small ball shapes.
- 5
Fill the mix into the greased loaf tin or arrange the ball shapes on baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes. It should set similar to a baked cheesecake.
- 6
Let the baked loaf cool down then turn over, so that the loaf can come out in one piece. Slice up to serve. You can cut out shapes with cookie cutters if you like to serve in a different way. I hope you enjoy this spicy little treat to go with cold and warm dishes of choice.
