Banga soup is pure comfort in a bowl. The rich, palm nut flavor with fish or meat just hits differently. I love it with starch or pounded yam,always satisfying and so full of home vibes.
Steps

Pour palm nut extract into a pot and bring to a boil.

Add chopped onions, ground crayfish, banga spice, seasoning cubes, salt, spice of choice, and blended fresh pepper.

Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add catfish and cook until fish is done and soup thickens, about 15 minutes.

For pounded yam, boil water, add yam flour, and stir until smooth. For starch or eba, prepare as usual.

Serve hot Banga soup with pounded yam, starch, or eba.
Tips
Adjust the amount of fresh pepper to your spice preference.
