Ingredients

30 minutes
2–3 people
  • 500 gground beef or lamb
  • 1small onion (grated)
  • 2 clovesgarlic (minced)
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 1 tspcumin
  • 2 tbspchopped parsley and cilantro
  • 1 tbspolive oil
  • For topping:
  • 1red onion, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Steps

30 minutes

    In a bowl, mix ground meat, grated onion, garlic, spices, parsley, cilantro, and olive oil.

    Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

    Shape the mixture into small sausage-like pieces or small patties.

    Grill them on a pan or charcoal grill for 10–15 minutes, turning until cooked through.

    Place the kefta on a serving plate and top with finely chopped onions and parsley.

Tips

✔ Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
✔ Do not overcook the meat to keep it juicy.
✔ Serve with Moroccan bread and tomato salad.
✔ You can add a little chili for extra spice.
