Prepare batter: in a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until smooth, then add milk, oil or melted butter and vanilla.
Combine both mixtures and mix into a smooth batter. Bake cupcakes: pour batter into cupcake molds (¾ full).
Bake at 180°C for 18–20 minutes.
Let them cool completely. - 2
Make chocolate sauce: in a pan, mix cocoa powder and sugar.
Add water or milk and cook on low heat, stirring continuously until slightly thick.
Add butter and vanilla, mix well, and let it cool.Make buttercream:beat butter until creamy.
Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder gradually.
Add milk little by little until soft and fluffy.
Mix in vanilla. - 3
Fill cupcakes (the surprise 🔥)Cut a small hole in the center of each cupcake.
Add 1 tsp chocolate sauce inside.
Pipe or spoon chocolate buttercream on top.
Cover lightly if needed.Decorate:pipe buttercream on top of cupcakes.
Drizzle chocolate sauce beautifully over them.
Add small decorations if desired.
Tips
Add sauce first, then buttercream for best texture. Don’t overfill to avoid breaking
