Spinach probably is not a favorite but since its healthy I try to incorporate it somehow in meals. Here is something I tried for the first time, and it turned out pretty good! What you need to make some Creamy Spinach is
I have given measurements for the masala powder - this would work well for a small quantity - just eyeball it - and if the taste is good according to you then thats what matters!

Steps

  1. 1

Heat the oil and add the cumin seeds. When its browning up, add the onions and cook it until it is transparent. Next add the ginger and garlic paste. Mix well and let it all cook together

  2. 2

A few mins later, add the tomatoes and the masala powders. Next add in the spinach and some salt to taste. Spinach cooks down, so if your pot is overflowing with spinach, they will all cook down. Mix it really well and once its done - add the cream. Let it cook for a few mins and serve!

New Zealand
Welcome to my Blog The Eaterspot. My blogging journey began in March 2010. I had just relocated from the US, and living in Wellington, New Zealand was definitely a whole lot different from the US. The day after I landed here, I began a full time job, but I still had a whole lot of free time after 5pm. I was cooking a lot of new dishes from various cuisines so the blog was born to document my cooking for my friends and family to follow what we are upto as a newly married couple and to see what we were eating! Thanks for visting my spot!
