Steps
- 1
Put butter in a wok and when it starts bubbling put in the sliced Bananas. Do select ones that are just ripe, i.e ones that have a little bit of Green on the skin.
- 2
Add the cinamon powder and keep turning the bananas, a slight brown roasted skin tastes really good.
- 3
Next add 1 cup of sugar and a splash of cream and wait until it gets caramelized.
- 4
Add the chopped nuts if you are using. You can also add almonds or walnuts.
- 5
In a serving bowl put in a slice of vanilla ice cream and spoon the mixture on top of the icecream. Serve immediately
- 6
I used the normal white variety of sugar...it tasted just as good. The online recipe uses alcohol you can certainly try that out.
