Coconut Ladoos
Steps
- 1
In a kadai take 1 tsp ghee and saute the chopped almonds and cashews on low flame and remove and keep aside.
- 2
In the same kadai add raisins in little ghee and saute and remove and keep aside.
- 3
Add 1 tbsp ghee and saute the sooji on low flame till you get nice aroma and colour changes slightly.Remove and keep aside.
- 4
Then take the remaining ghee and add grated coconut and saute on low flame for 7-8 mins. Then add the roasted sooji, roasted dryfruits and mix well.
- 5
Add the sugar and keep stirring on low flame till sugar completely melts and the mixture becomes dry. Do not overcook.
- 6
Remove the mixture in a plate and take small portions and make ladoos when the mixture is warm. Let the ladoos cool. Then store in an airtight container. I made 20 ladoos with this.
Tips
You can add jaggery also instead of sugar.
