I love adding Coriander leaves to the coconut chutney.
Steps
- 1
Arrange all the ingredients.
- 2
In a mixer grinder jar add all ingredients and grind. Then open and add the water as the desired quantity you like. Adjust seasoning accordingly to taste. I don’t like too runny chutney so I add 1/4- 1/3 cup water. Grind it till it forms a nice paste. I don’t like very smooth chutney, I keep it a bit course.
- 3
Heat oil in a tadka pan. Once heated add the urad dal when it starts browning add the whole dry chillies.
- 4
Then add in the Hing, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- 5
Once the mustard seeds starts crackling. Take it out of the flame and add/pour the tempering in the grinded chutney. Your chutney is ready. Mix and Put it in a bowl. Serve it with Dosa, Idli, Vada etc.
- 6
I served it with Ragi Dosa !
