Cheese biscuits

Super easy recipe for super delicious crispy cheese biscuits. You can experiment with different cheeses (eg. blue or smoked), herbs and spices. Great to serve with an appetizer, as a base for canapés or with cheese and grapes after dinner. They keep well in an airtight container but do hide in a quiet corner of a high cupboard if you want them to last for more than a day!!!

Put all the ingrdients in the mixer

Add freshly ground black pepper and some chilli flakes

Mix until a ball forms

Roll out on a flowered surface.

Cut out with a biscuit cutter

You can use a small glass or cup if you haven't got a biscuit cutter

Prick with a fork

Pre-heat oven to 160° and put the oven tray in. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden

Take off the baking tray and transfer on to a cooling tray

Leave to cool. Enjoy with a cool glass of white wine as an aperitif or serve with cheese and grapes after dinner.
