In a bowl, mash the banana and keep it aside.

Pre heat oven 180°C. Prepare the loaf pan and cover it with baking paper or grease the pan.

In a bowl, beat egg and add sugar. Whisk it well, pour the melted butter. Add vanilla essence/extract.

Sieve the flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, cocoa powder, salt into the wet ingredients.

Add the mashed banana into the batter. Mix it well.

Pour the batter into the pan. Knock the pan to release some air bubbles.

Bake in the oven at 170°C for 50 mins to 60 mins.

After 60 minutes, check the doneness by stick in a toothpick/needle and it come out clean.

Remove out the cake and let it cool down for 1 - 2 hours before slicing it.
