  1. 3 cupmilk
  2. 1/2 stickbutter (real butter)
  3. 3 tbspflour
  4. 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/4 tsppepper

  1. 1

    melt butter add flour.

  2. 2

    mix until flour seems dissolved and add milk slowly whisking or stirring.

  3. 3

    once it starts bubbling it should thicken..

  4. 4

    turn it down on low or off if its the cinsistancy that you want

My name is Sheree.. I am 47 with 2 yorkie mixes.. My male Morkie (maltese/ yorkie mix is named Abu. I also have a female named Sasha, who is a yorkiepoo. My Hubby's name is Kip.... I am a country cook that LOVES to cook.... my mother taught me to cook semi-homemade. So my recipes are good and simple.... the trick is to make it taste homemade. . To enhance the flavor my mom used bacon drippings and / or drippings from the meat that she had chicken fried. Her gravy was always very tasty. Another thing she would do is add just a touch of sugar. It didn't make it sweet, but it kept it from being too briny.
