Yucatan Style Shrimp

Wanted to try shrimp a different way (to me). This hinted at a spicy, new way. I made a single serving instead of 4. But this wasn't really spicy, which took me by surprise, it was actually mild. Decent flavor none the less.

Steps
- 1
Prep all your ingedients first! Chop your garlic, finely dice your jalapeno, I did cut the shell on the back and remove the Vein on the shrimp
- 2
This is a low heat cooking process. Put your skillet on over low or medium low heat. Let it warm up. Put your butter in.
- 3
Once butter is melted, add garlic, stir and cook for 1 minute.
- 4
Add your lime juice, stir in
- 5
Add your diced jalapeno, cook for 2 minutes, stirring
- 6
Place your shrimp in the skillet, spread around the pan.
- 7
Cook shrimp 2 minutes, than flip over
- 8
Cook 1-2 minutes until done, do not overcook. Serve.
- 9
I made some edamame succotash to go with it.
