Ingredients: 3 tbsp olive oil; 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped; 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper; rock salt; 1/4 tsp paprika (add more if you prefer); 1/4 tsp chilli powder (add more if you prefer); 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice; 6 prepared sardines ( 2 per person)

Ingredients

3 tbspolive oil

1/2 tspfresh ground black pepper
rock salt
1/4 tsppaprika (add more if you prefer)
1/4 tspchilli powder (add more if you prefer)
2 tbspfreshly squeezed lemon juice
6prepared sardines ( 2 per person)

Steps

Rinse and salt the sardines the night before coating them well with a good handful of salt. Place in fridge until needed.

Pre-heat the oven to 200 Celsius.

Place sardines on a oven proof flat tray and coat with the rest of the ingredients.

Cook for about 20 minutes. No need to turn over.

Note: This can also be done on the barbecue.

Once cooked serve immediately.
