This is a really pretty dessert to serve, the burst of fresh juicy berries with the contrast of chocolate is so amazing!

Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper

Melt chocolate, either carefully in microwave or in a heat proof bowl over simmering water, or a double boiler.

Pour melted chocolate on to parchmemt paper. Smooth to a even 1/4 inch layer. Cool just 1 to 2 minutes

While still warm place berries in chocolate, pressing very gently in a single layer.

Chill at least 2 hours, until chocolate is hard. With a small sharp knife cut between berries into pieces and place on seving plate. Keep cold.

This can be made the day before, but after about 24 hours the fruit begins to soften and it is best eaten before then.
